Department of Electrical & Electronics

The department was started during the academic year 1997 - 98 with approval from AICTE and affiliation from University of Madras; later from Anna University. This department has impressive range of laboratories.

The department library has an extensive collection of academic books in the areas of latest technologies.

The department has well equipped laboratory

facilities in the area of thermal, fluid mechanics, dynamics, workshop, cad/cam, strength of materials. Efficient staffs guide students & individual attention is given to students.

M.E Embedded System Technologies
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering began its Postgraduate Program in Embedded Systems in the academic year 2009-2010.

Embedded systems will be the pathway for the next generation's new inventions. It will act as a platform for the budding engineers and graduates to pay more attention over Research and Development. Design engineers of Embedded Systems can optimize it, by reducing the size and cost of the product or by increasing the reliability and performance.

This programme covers various areas like hardware software co-design, Microprocessor and Microcontrollers, Digital Electronics, Operating systems etc., for graduates of Computer Science and Engineering, Information technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
