The Department of Aeronautical Engineering began in the academic year
2009 - 2010. Aeronautical Engineering Courses imparts multi-faceted training to students in areas like manufacturing and development of aircrafts and missiles. An aeronautical engineer can also design, test and contribute to the development of advanced technologies in the field of defense and space science.

This programme deals with the design of aircraft systems, aero engine repair and maintenance, avionics, study of rockets & missiles and space communication.
